Through The Looking Glass

Typographic Exhibition

Through The Looking Glass was a typographic exhibition showcasing the 12 poems hidden within Lewis Carroll’s novel of the same name. Held at Ollie Quinn Opticians in Leeds, it played with themes inspired by both the venue’s context and the novel’s surreal narrative.

Visitors were immersed in a journey that began with stepping into the first poem—wrapped around a mirror—experiencing diverse formats from print and motion to anamorphic murals.

The exhibition culminated in a whimsical nod to the Mad Hatter’s tea party, complete with G&Ts served in medicine vials and vintage china, further blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.
